Who We Are
OSCE Expert is Belfast's dedicated NMC OSCE training centre for internationally educated nurses. We exist solely to help overseas nurses pass the NMC OSCE and begin their nursing career in the UK.
Our Story
Built by nurses, for nurses
OSCE Expert was founded by a team of experienced UK Registered Nurses and NMC OSCE assessors who recognised that internationally educated nurses often struggle not with clinical competence, but with the structure, communication approach, and assessment technique expected in the UK NMC OSCE.
We created OSCE Expert to bridge that gap — providing a training environment that authentically reflects the NMC OSCE, delivered by people who have spent years assessing nurses and understand precisely what the NMC panel expects.
Since our founding, we have supported hundreds of internationally educated nurses from across the world to prepare for and pass the NMC OSCE — many of whom are now working as registered nurses in NHS trusts and community settings throughout the United Kingdom.

Sarah has over 12 years of experience as an NMC OSCE assessor and nurse educator. She leads our curriculum design, ensuring every station aligns with current NMC assessment standards.
James O'Brien RN
Senior NMC Assessor
Clinical Skills & Patient Assessment
A Senior Staff Nurse with extensive experience in clinical skills teaching and NMC OSCE preparation. James specialises in patient assessment, medicines management, and escalation scenarios.
Aisha Patel RN
Communication Skills Lead
Mental Health & Communication Nursing
Aisha brings specialist expertise in communication-focused NMC OSCE stations including breaking bad news, consent, safeguarding, and professional boundaries.
